This is one bad ass Mustang, I was searching through youtube’s site and ended up finding a video on it by Webrides TV. Stillen takes a regular Mustang GT and does some major upgrades to it like a Magnuson roots-type supercharger and a very nice body kit. This custom Mustang is very smooth looking and reminds me a little of Eleanor from “Gone in 60 seconds,” I think it’s the 2 custom lights in front on the Mustang grille, really makes the car stand out.
Ford is working with five UK police forces to help fight vehicle crime this Christmas. A specially equipped Transit is at the forefront of this campaign to beat the criminal.The T350 long wheelbase, high roof Transit, operated by the Dunton-based Ford Vehicle Security Team, is equipped to support police in identifying stolen vehicles and vehicle components and to investigate new methods used to break into a vehicle.
It is also a mobile security display unit, equipped with everything from window etching to an electronic satellite tracking system, a work bench, alloy wheel marking equipment and a siren and PA system.
Pete Hyam, Ford vehicle security engineer, based at Dunton Technical Centre, said: “We are working in partnership with the police on auto crime prevention, using what we believe is the most secure Transit in the UK. It is equipped with a laminate on the glass which holds the fragments together if broken, and reduces the possibility of entering the vehicle.
“Vehicles are customers’ most valuable asset after buying their house, and if we can help reduce this type of crime it will be fantastic.”
The five forces Ford will be supporting in the run up to Christmas and beyond are Essex, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Thames Valley and Cheshire.
Inspector Jonathan Baldwin from Essex Police said: “The objective of this working partnership is to reduce the impact of auto crime.
“We believe that working with companies such as Ford within crime reduction partnership agreements will help take these criminals off the road and reduce their ability to commit crime.”
He added: “Most thefts of satellite navigation systems come through vehicle glass being broken. We would like to explore the use of laminate on windows, and to publicise the fact that you can have your satellite navigation aid etched with an ultra violet light-sensitive serial number. That’s the type of initiative we are going to promote through this partnership with Ford.”
Steeda is expanding their corporation in Valdosta, Georgia. This brand new, state-of-the-art expansion of Steeda’s operations will be situated on a 35 acre campus and will consist of engineering, manufacturing, vehicle modification, and distribution facilities that will be second to no other Ford performance manufacturing company in the business.
Initially on this campus will be an all new 100,000 sq. ft. building that will take care of the office and manufacturing side of the business. Outdoors, to take care of the vehicle dynamic side of the business will be a comprehensive vehicle dynamic testing facility that will feature a challenging test track featuring a 1.2 mile road course, skid pad, slalom course and brake test area. The test track will have a variety of road surfaces to aid in the development and prove out process for future Steeda vehicles and parts in terms of performance, noise, vibration and harshness. The nearby drag strip, South Georgia Motorsports Park, is a new, world class facility that will be utilized for additional extensive vehicle testing and product evaluation.
In addition, this expansion provides for an exciting opportunity for Steeda Autosports to partner with Georgia Tech and Valdosta Technical Institute to take our manufacturing and engineering processes to the next level as we continually evolve and develop our products to always be the very best available.

The deep dish look is in for Mustang owners across the country, tons of mustang enthusiasts are changing there rims just to get that deep dish look. It definitely gives the appearance of a wider tire in back and of course a shinier look from the rear of the car. Personally I really like the look and glad we are starting to see it on many muscle cars out on the road. My favorite rim to go with for the deep dish look is a set of CCW 505As. Please pick your favorite Mustang aftermarket company and try to be honest. Take time to think about it, all three companies have made such sweet Mustangs. Saleen has been around for the longest so that might have a little leveridge. The other two have built just as nice of cars though, this is a real tough one.
My personal favorite would have to be Saleen, they have helped Ford out for a long time in selling Mustangs. Plus, the new Saleen Mustang they built for the S197 model just looks so appealing to me. I’ve seen some S281Es in person and they just look gorgeous, it’s too bad they are so expensive. They even did an amaing job with the 4th gen. Mustangs, it’s really hard to compete with a company that produces such amazing looking cars.
Seems as though everytime you look around the corner there is a new special edition Mustang coming out by an aftermarket company. This is a good thing though, more the merrier, at least that’s how I feel. 500 of these “Coyote Edition” Mustangs are to be built in Arlington, Texas. The car doesn’t have any huge power upgrades, but it does have a lot of nice body work done to it. Car comes with very nice 20″ rims too! Here’s what the car offers for the consumer…
