I am Legend Mustang GT500

If you still haven’t seen the mustang scene in the movie section “I am Legend” you can check it out here. Listen to that Eaton Supercharger scream! The movie was great just as I thought it would be. I really liked Will Smith’s acting in it, he did a great job. I thought they could of done a better job with the mutated humans, but they still looked pretty freaky.

Mustang God turns 85: Carrol Shelby

Carrol Shelby BirthdayMy main man Carrol Shelby turns 85 on January 11th. Guy deserves a lot of recognition for producing a muscle car legend.

“Carroll Shelby is an American hero who changed the face of automotive performance,” said Amy Boylan, president of Shelby Automobiles. “We’re going to kick off a year long celebration of this amazing man’s life with a serious party. Working with Team Shelby, we’ll throw a party Carroll’s way with lots of ways for enthusiasts to enjoy their cars. It will be one of the single most important events of 2008 for Shelby fans.”

The party will be in the Las Vegas factory on January 13th. I hope Mr. Shelby has a great birthday!

ffw_title_01.gifThe Fun Ford Weekend is unveiled to Mustang enthusiasts across the net - link. Starting on March 1st there will be a 18th Annual MM&FF FFW Spring Break Shootout. The Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords magazine once a year “Spring Break” class, reserved for all-out race cars with license plates, registration and insurance is a 32 car, heads-up shootout at it’s best.

Of course, all of the Pro, Outlaw, Renegade, Bandit and Warrior cars will be out looking to start the season and add up the points. And for the racers from the cold weather climates, well, the Florida girls will be dressed, ugh…like Florida girls like to dress.
