First 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 & Two Mustang GT Concept Cars to be Auctioned



Ford has announced plans to auction off the first production 2010 Shelby GT500 and a pair of Mustang GT concepts at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction next month. The pair of Mustang GT concepts first bowed at the 2003 Detroit Motor Show and have since toured the nation at various national car shows. Ford Donates $20 For Each Test Drive to Race for the Cure



For 15 years Ford has been working with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity. This year they are donating $20 for each Ford, Mercury or Lincoln that is test driven at a Ford dealership, up to $1 million. Many dealerships are also pitching in an additional $20 up to $1,000. Bud Moore, a NASCAR owner who competed with Ford products for 50 years in NASCAR , will be one of five people inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame Thursday night in Talladega, Ala. Moore, who won 63 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races with a variety of legendary drivers, is now 83 years old and still resides in his hometown of Spartanburg, S.C. Ford celebrates 45 years of the Mustang at Barber Motorsports Park
