Report: 2012 Ford Mustang GT500 To Get Twin-Turbo ‘Road Runner’ V-8



We've all heard about the 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine in the works at Ford by now, but today new talk has emerged of a twin-turbocharged version of that engine, dubbed "Road Runner," which will be dropped into the 2012 Mustang GT500.

1964 World’s Fair Production Mustangs - The Many Stories Of 100004 - ‘64 World’s Fair



There has always been a certain fascination about early production Mustangs. We've all heard the story of 100001, a white convertible that was mistakenly sold to airline pilot Stanley Tucker and eventually returned to Ford, where it is now preserved by The Henry Ford museum.

Ford wants bioplastic in cars



Ford researchers are hoping to develop 100% petroleum-free automotive plastics to make it to make cars totally compostable - as long as they don't compost while being driven of course. In fact, decomposition is one of the 3 main challenges that Ford is trying to overcome since bioplastic (e.g. polylactic acid) is designed to decompose quickly. Maybe bioplastic developers can design a time-activated material where vehicles have expiration date and that's when decomposition process starts??
