66 mustang 289 intake manifold leaks



the car would not idle properly, found an air leak at the intake manifold behind the distributor. engine perked up when carb cleaner sprayed in this area. new gasket set didn't seem quite right. cork peices for front and rear seam a bit too long. used rtv with gasket but it didn't seal well at all. both front corners leak coolant so does right rear area. still has a bit of air leak behind distr...

Ford move will hit 900 jobs at Mustang plant

Ford Lays Off 900 at Mustang Assembly Plant



According to the Associated Press , Ford Motor Company announced yesterday that it plans to lay off 900 workers at the Auto Alliance International assembly plant in Flat Rock, Michigan where the current Ford Mustang is built.
