One of the most unknown Mustangs to date is the 1997 Saleen Mustang S351.  The car doesn’t get enough credit!  This stock Saleen Mustang can do 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds, that’s one hell of a time for a 1997 sports car.  The top speed on this car was around 170 mph, yes 170mph!!!  Now that’s pretty darn fast if you ask me!  Steve Saleen really did a nice job with this car, it’s very sharp.  I just love the ground effects on it, especially in front, gives it a one of a kind look to it.  To be honest with you I don’t think I have ever seen one of these Stangs out on the road.   I guess it makes sense with only 40 of them produced.  20 speedsters and only 20 convertibles, that makes this car pretty rare.
