I really think this is one of the best movie car chases ever, especially for it’s time. What I like about it is it’s all natural and there’s no special affects in it. Well shit, back in 1968 when they made this movie there was no such thing. I think that’s what makes a chase scene really cool! When you add too many special affects in it, it takes away from the chase scene and makes it cheesy. I give props to Peter Yates for directing such a cool chase scene in Bullitt, it is definitely a legendary scene and will stay a legendary scene more time to come. And of course Steve McQueen did a great job acting in this scene also, will be in my Mustang memories forever.
